Plants provide your home with oxygen, are natural remedies for some illnesses, help you to relax and yield edible fruits. Besides all that, they can also be used to decorate your home!
When we talk about decorating your home with plants and flowers, we don’t want you to just picture a plant used as a table centrepiece or one that is strategically placed on a piece of furniture next to a pretty object.
We also imagine something a tad more elaborate and original, such as the idea shown in the picture below: how about getting a few colourful flowerpots and hanging them from the ceiling? It’s a decorating idea that will wow your guests, who will no doubt want to copy your idea!

And if you’re lucky enough to have a balcony or a terrace, you can assemble a small collection of flowerpots in an array of colours and designs, each with a different kind of flower to afford even greater variety.

What are the perfect plants for this time of year? Here are a few ideas for summer varieties:
- Orchids: a really elegant plant that will give a touch of distinction to your home. Bear in mind that it is a delicate species; you should keep it away from direct sunlight in summer, as the heat may affect the plant.
- Lavender: this flower will not only decorate your home, but it will also give it a deep, characteristic fragrance.
- Lilies: give a touch of sweetness and innocence to your home with lilies. This flower needs little water and lots of sun to shine in all its glory.
